Patient Services Expansion

Based on the need for Patient/Visitor friendly wayfinding, the expansion re-evaluated the existing parking lots and circulation to accommodate the existing and proposed entry points to the 35 acre hospital. Opportunities for a new landscape presentation along the south face of the hospital run from the Cancer Center to the Walk-in/Emergency Department. In addition, an internal healing garden was designed around a fountain and the healing story known as ‘Creation’.  The existing hospital property landscape was characterized by a mature oak tree canopy that shaded the majority of the campus. A playful outdoor employee area provides a peaceful garden breakout.
