Forbidden Journey Expansion

One of the “must see” attractions at Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure is the Forbidden Journey experience at Harry Potter. This project’s expansion included two acres of Area Development improvements, which were featured around a new rockwork structure for exterior guest lockers. The design challenge was to create a functional element nestled within a highly-themed attraction. The new area becomes the foreground for the iconic photo of the castle, integrating into the existing fabric was critical.

FCA provided full site design, hardscape, landscape, grading and drainage, irrigation design services and complete coordination with the rockwork thematic builder to deliver a highly successful solution. The space is used by guests and provides comfortable circulation and a safe place to store personal items while riding the attraction.
