McCoy Park

McCoy Park is a City of Orlando public park, which is geared toward baseball and softball for all ages.  The site program includes two Little League fields, one Softball field and one Babe Ruth/Pony League field.  All fields were designed per league regulations, making this park a destination for competitive tournaments.  The active complex also features a concession stand for food and beverages, a scorekeeper’s box, and a large playground area for siblings to stay entertained during games.  For other recreation, the site offers a half-mile walk/jogging path that encompasses the fields, with shaded bench seating along the way.  A picturesque fountain in the stormwater pond adds to the appeal of the site.
FCA provided full site design, hardscape and landscape design services, as well as sports field and playground design. This was a successful design-build project with BrightView.
