The Nine at Gainesville

The Nine at Gainesville is a student housing apartment project located in Gainesville, FL. The complex has a zero-entry pool/spa amenity courtyard with a BBQ grill area along with a second courtyard featuring outdoor games, a hammock court and fountain plaza. Both courtyards reinforce the Florida Gators’ spirit as well as provide active and passive areas for the students.

FCA was responsible for landscape architectural design from concept through construction documentation and construction administration. This includes all the hardscape, site elements, pool design, amenity activities, and landscape and irrigation design. All the exterior facets of the design were coordinated with architect, interior design and civil disciplines to help create a seamless transition from building to courtyards both in terms of aesthetics and function.
